The Duxford Wing (virtual) RAF Squadron

Welcome to the home of the Duxford Wing (virtual) RAF Squadron, a virtual fighter squadron playing in the flight sims Aces High and Warbirds.

We have virtual pilots from all over the world, from the US-based Eagle Squadron to South Africa, Germany, Italy and of course the UK. Our Warbirds squadron is headed by Biffas, while our Aces High wing is headed by Zensen. We are actively recruiting and if you would like to enquire about joining us, please e-mail us.

Potential new pilots are invited to wing up with us before they decide to join, although anyone wishing to join up with us will spend the first two weeks on a trial period, just to make sure you are comfortable working with us and we are with you :-) We take novice and experienced pilots as well.

We fly and drive almost anything from fighters to bombers to tanks and we enjoy nothing more than running organised missions to capture bases or undertake strategic escorted bomber missions. We are a friendly and informal group of like-minded aviation enthusiasts and have no strict rules other than we expect our pilots to conduct themselves within the bounds of normal common decency and to treat others with courtesy and respect. I suppose if we have one rule, it must be HAVE FUN :-)
